 DeVos Institute Programs

 

The Kennedy Center has a number of management programs for individuals seeking to lead and work in performing arts organizations, and organizations seeking to increase their capacity to achieve their artistic missions. These arts management programs represent the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' commitment to supporting arts organizations by developing arts managers.

Programs for Organizations

The Kennedy Center has several management programs specifically tailored for arts organizations across the country. These programs are designed to support the ability of organizations to achieve their missions by developing the strategic planning and implementation skill of key management.Programs for organizations include the Capacity Building Program for Culturally Specific Program for Performing Arts Organizations, Sustaining the American Orchestra, and ArtsAdvantage/NYC.  


Programs for Individuals

The Kennedy Center has several management programs for current and emerging arts leaders. These programs include the Fellowship Program, Internship Program, and Executive Seminars.Program participants have the opportunity to work closely with Kennedy Center senior staff and expand their professional network.Through practical training, seminars, demonstrations, and individual and group projects program participants develop the skills to succeed in today’s complex arts environment—all in the context of one of the largest performing arts organizations in the nation.
