Every day in the paper I am seeing more bad news.  Citigroup cutting 52K jobs.  Stocks down.  Companies going bankrupt.
As someone who obsesses over my budget/cashflow (I look at it daily), it's sometimes hard to stay positive internally.  Even though the economy is a good excuse, you can't help but wonder if it's something you are doing when the ticket sales slump or when grants/individuals start cutting back.  I'm hoping for an entrepreneurial idea that will put us back on track...but right now it's just not coming to me.  Others are saying we just need to hold tight this year and maybe next...but if things keep going this route, we may have to make some painful decisions sooner rather than later.
On the positive side, we've been rethinking every aspect of our business, art and outreach to see how we can do things better.  Most of these will be applied next year.
