Job Description
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
· Minimum 2 years knowledge and professional experience with the Internet and interactive media production.
· Proven intermediate knowledge of basic HTML (**without using a WYSIWYG editor**).
· Proficiency with Adobe/Macromedia Web development products (i.e., Dreamweaver and Fireworks), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office—Excel, Word and PowerPoint—is required. Proficiency using Microsoft Access and/or Project is a plus.
· Proven experience with web publishing projects from inception to completion.
· Understanding of networked office environments, web structures and workflows.
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate, track and uphold staff workflow, group calendars and content goals.
· Must be extremely organized and capable of tracking issues on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Must be able to correctly estimate the time and effort needed to perform a task, able to meet deadlines with excellent problem-identification and reporting skills.
· Proven ability to multitask and prioritize heavy workload under team and time pressures.
· Ability to respond to project demands with creativity, flexibility and enthusiasm, and retain and respond to a great deal of detailed project information.
· Ability to clearly articulate suggestions and ideas in both written and oral form.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of K-12 focused instructional technology.
· Understanding of QA process and experience performing code, environment and application troubleshooting.
· Experience writing requirements and project documents.
· Familiarity with trends in Web content development, arts-related issues, and arts education.


Requirements:
Come play a leading role in the growth of ARTSEDGE, the online education program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Through its Web site http://artsedge.kennedy-center.org> ARTSEDGE provides free, standards-based teaching materials for use in and out of the classroom, media-rich interactive arts modules for students, and more.

The Program Coordinator will oversee all administrative and production elements of the ARTSEDGE program and site. You will play a vital role in the life cycle of all instructional and editorial content on the site, coordinate traffic and workflow, interface with external vendors, and provide administrative support.

This position will have daily and direct contact with producers, developers and instructional designers and will act as QA representative in all production and site application issues. Proficiency with Adobe/Macromedia products, as well as fluency in web practices and basic HTML coding, is required.
