Job Description • BA/BS in business, marketing/sales, communications, or related field. • 4+ years experience in business, marketing/sales, or strategic/analyst position. • 3+ years experience with Tessitura and database systems required. • Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, with proficiency in Excel and Access. • Must be extremely detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. • Must have superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills. • Must be positive, hard working, and strategic. • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with teams in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. • Must demonstrate project management experience and successful problem solving skills. • Experience in campaign planning, analysis, and budgeting preferred. • Knowledge of, or professional work experience in, the performing arts and/or nonprofit marketing preferred. Requirements: The Marketing Analyst is responsible for developing the necessary reports and analyses to help the marketing department meet its ticket sales goals. The duties of this position require strategic planning, analysis/reporting, list management, and data mining for all marketing campaigns. Other duties, as assigned, to meet the needs of the department at any given time. Tessitura experience and computer proficiency required. DUTIES Tracking & Report Analysis • Process and track marketing expenses and projections, and provide insight into the cost per sale, customer response, source codes, marketing expenses as a percentage of sales, the effectiveness of advertising, cost-earnings ratios etc. • Pull insightful reports for the marketing team that measure seats and dollars for renewals and acquisitions, including retention and attrition rates, in addition to overall sales. • Perform advanced analytics work (financial, quantitative, and statistical) to develop and support analyses required to advance ticket sales. • Pre- and post-campaign analysis, provide conclusions and data-based recommendations. • Analyze customer purchasing behavior and demographics for use in improving targeting and model building. • Data mining to determine areas of opportunity for future campaigns/target marketing that will increase revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction. • Design and develop reporting and analytics to support the marketing department. • Pull reports and create sales and subscription reports as needed. • Ensure data accuracy, data standardization, and customizing applications and reporting to match business practices as it relates to marketing. List Management • Research, plan, and execute internal/external list needs in relation to exchanges/rentals, direct mail, telemarketing, and email. • Facilitate rental requests for use of the Kennedy Center mailing list.
